Our booking process is self serve, however we would be happy to guide you through the process.
If you are flexible, look for offseason rates. Many campgrounds and parks are opened year round & often have less visitors.
If you are planning on visiting some of our popular parks, we recommend you book in advance. With our flexible cancellation policy, it’s risk free.
Keep in mind that many parks also offer first come, first serve campgrounds. Renting a campervan allows for the freedom to plan as you go.
A week prior to departure
We will reach out to you in order to coordinate & firm up the meeting place & RV orientation. We provide several meeting options within the San Francisco and Palo Alto areas. We will also work with you to determine a more suitable location if required.
We will share a detailed supply list as well as RV manual. These documents are intended to help you pack accordingly as our RVs come well equipped with necessities, gear and consumable items.
Remaining booking balance & deposit are due & will be automatically charged to your account
RV Pick Up
Budget for a 45 minutes for orientation. We want you to take advantage of all of the RV’s technology and features. We’d be happy to tag along for a test drive with you if desired.
You will get a chance to inspect the vehicle and sign the rental contract (similar to car rental.)
We will also firm up the meeting place for vehicle return.
We will meet at an agreed location and time to pick up the RV.
TRAIL MIX RV will inspect the RV and refund your deposit if no damage is found within 48 business hours of the rental return along with email confirmation
